The day you become greedy, and hope to get "lucky", is the day you lose all of your money. Sounds a bit absurd, but it seems to be credible. It seems the only time I ever come away with money is when I don’t care about squandering it. I decided to go to the the casino the other night with $20 in cash. I couldn’t care any less about blowing it, who cares about $20? So can you imagine what happened? I left with one hundred and twenty dollars in profit in 2 hours!
A different time I was at the casino with my buddy Ben. I took with me 100 dollars that I could not bear to lose. I got insatiable, I got scared, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in 32 mins! The lesson is don’t ever bet more than you are able to squander. If you don’t worry about not winning, you have a greater chance of winning big!
