The time you become greedy, and wish to get "lucky", is the day you lose all of your money. Sounds a little strange, but it seems to be true. The only time I ever amass money is when I don’t worry about losing it. I decided to go to the the casino last night with twenty dollars. I couldn’t care any less about squandering it, who cares about twenty dollars? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 in profit in just two hours!
Another time I was at the casino with my friend Matt. I went in with one hundred dollars that I couldn’t bear to lose. I got hoggish, I got scared, and I ended up wagering too much and squandered it in 32 mins! The lesson my friends is do not wager more than you can afford to lose. If you don’t care about not winning, you have a lot more opportunity of winning big!
How else can you improve your chances of succeeding at Roulette other than making a budget? Never bet on single numbers! Yes, they hit every once in a while, but they do not come up often enough to guarantee a dependable profit. Just wager on even bets e.g. black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 wagers for example 1st dozen, second dozen, third 12, etc Bet on odds that pay pretty high.
With the basic rules reviewed, how else might we further increase our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By making probability into our friend, instead of our opposition. "You cannot succeed at Roulette", my friend Chris would say to me. "It’s completely arbitrary because any number might come up". Sure, my buddy Matt certainly has a point, however at the same instance, he is missing a significant aspect of the picture. I totally agree, black or red can hit thirty times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
